Jacob & Michelle // Burdell Wedding

First I would like to say a huge congratulations to Jacob and Michelle on their special day and secondly, thank you for inviting me in to be apart of it. My favourite part about weddings is getting to know not only the bride and groom but their bridal party as well.

Jacob and Michelle’s ceremony was an intimate backyard gathering of family, a few select friends and very important guests of the four legged kind. It was a day filled with much love and happiness and those that couldn’t attend due to global events we shall not name, were still invited over facetime.

For portraits we ventured out to the nature reserve at the end of Pallarenda for some lush green backdrops, where we were blessed with some wonderful direct afternoon lighting. I made the worst cardinal sin here and accidentally knocked over a beer while taking photos of the party. Hopefully the pictures turned out and they are worth the loss of beer.

We finished up with some portraits with the cars, and then headed back to the reception which was held at the plantations decking at the Mercure hotel here in Townsville. The reception was a more lively event with all of the bride and grooms special people being there.
